The Benefits

• The rain sheet helps keep the rider’s seat and feet dry, warm and comfortable.
• Because they are not being constantly soaked and dried, the rain sheet reduces considerably the wear and tear on saddles and pads.
• The rain sheet fabric is waterproof yet highly breathable to minimise sweating and overheating when working or during competitions in inclement or changeable weather.
• The rain sheet offers maximum levels of comfort without impeding the movement of either the horse or the rider – the rain sheet can even be worn while jumping!
• The rain sheet is designed to be worn while riding, and therefore has to be completely safe for both the horse and the rider, even in the event of a fall. The rain sheet’s Velcro straps are in fact specifically designed to give in a fall, to ensure that the rain sheet stays with the rider and that both fall completely away from the horse.

• The rain sheet dries rapidly when drip dried. Do not machine dry.

The Strapless Outdoor Sheet won First Prize for Innovation at the SPOGA 2008 International Fair, Cologne, Germany in September 2008

The Strapless Outdoor Sheet was invented by Michel Manhès to provide a range of benefits for the horse over existing sheets.

• The elastic chest band prevents the sheet from sliding down the horse’s back while keeping the shoulders and forearms free and at the same time obviating any need for gussets.
• The wide elastic band keeps the rib cage warm and holds the sheet in place.
• The sheet hangs down straight thanks to the new, patented tail attachment which also ensures the sheet remains clean when the horse or pony defecates.
• Because the outdoor sheet has no straps, there is no likelihood of the horse or anything else becoming entangled in it.
• Rain water is directed to run down the outsides of the horse’s legs.
• Finally, the complete absence of any metal buckles means the sheet can be placed in a washing machine without any likelihood of damaging the drum!

The Dry SeaHorse Paddock and Indoor Blanket is very quick and simple to fit and remove, and may be used while exercising, as a cooler or as a stable blanket.

The 2-in-1 exercise rug and saddle pad may be used during exercising, for work or when the animal is being transported.
